What this page can and cannot tell you

One application serves registration, the admin panel, the API and the scanner app, and it serves this page too — so if it were down, this page would be down with it, and an empty browser window is the honest signal for that. What each line above adds is the thing only the application knows: when that part of it last answered somebody, and whether the database, the queue, the certificates and last night's backup are healthy behind it.

Check-in never depends on this page. A scanner already paired keeps admitting people with no signal at all and uploads when it has one.
